Craft & Material

Each pair is handcrafted using the traditional Nerikomi (JiāotΓ i) technique β€” different colored porcelain clays are repeatedly folded, twisted, and sliced, allowing earth-toned striations to emerge naturally from within the clay body. Every pair carries a one-of-a-kind pattern that can never be exactly replicated.

Design Details

  • Pendant: Arch-shaped nerikomi porcelain drop with a warm matte finish, featuring layered bands of deep brown, caramel, and golden ochre flowing in a natural sediment-like pattern. Good resemblance to a surfboard, if you love that sport.
  • Stud: Small gold-plated hammered disc, creating an elegant contrast against the organic texture of the porcelain
  • Connection: Gold jump ring for secure and comfortable wear

Size & Weight

  • Total Height: 42 mm
  • Width: 25 mm
  • Weight: 6.9 g / pair

Wearing Experience

Lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear β€” perfect for daily commutes, art events, or special occasions. A wearable piece of handcrafted art that adds warmth and intention to any look.

About Nerikomi

Nerikomi (JiāotΓ i) is a porcelain craft with a 5,000-year history in Chinese ceramic tradition. Multiple colored clays are stacked, twisted, and shaped so that the pattern flows through the entire body of the piece β€” inside and out. Fired through generations of kiln mastery, each work embodies both natural beauty and deep cultural heritage.

Because of the nature of how this is made, each one is unique in color and pattern, so what you receive is not exact replica of what's shown in the photos, but similarity will be up to 90%
