A one-of-a-kind handcrafted ceramic flat plate created using the traditional Nerikomi (Jiaotai) technique — an ancient art form where different colored clays are twisted, folded, and layered together before being shaped entirely by hand.

Because each plate is individually hand-formed, no two pieces are ever alike. The marbled, multi-toned patterns — blending warm terracotta, brown, and white clay — are completely unique to each plate. Shape similarity is approximately 90% — slight variations in form, rim, and curvature are a natural and celebrated part of the handmaking process, not defects.

When you purchase a Nerikomi plate, you receive a truly singular object — a small piece of functional art that cannot be exactly replicated.

Before ordering, please note the product you receive will not be the exact replica of what you see in the images, this is because how our products are made, it's near impossible to produce for example two cups with the exact same look.
