Each pair is handcrafted using the traditional Nerikomi (Jiāotài) technique — different colored porcelain clays are repeatedly folded, twisted, and sliced, allowing earth-toned striations to emerge naturally from within the clay body. Every pair carries a one-of-a-kind pattern that can never be exactly replicated.

Nerikomi (Jiāotài) is a porcelain craft with a 5,000-year history in Chinese ceramic tradition. Multiple colored clays are stacked, twisted, and shaped so that the pattern flows through the entire body of the piece — inside and out. Fired through generations of kiln mastery, each work embodies both natural beauty and deep cultural heritage.
