Deep brown and copper-gold clays flow in fine, dense lines around this wide ceramic band — like the patina of ancient bronze, layered over centuries and revealed in a single firing. The pattern runs through the clay itself — formed in a single firing, never on the surface. Matte in finish, substantial in presence, this ring wears like a found object — something ancient, something entirely your own.

As with all handcrafted nerikomi pieces, the band is irregular in form — the inner diameter and thickness vary naturally across the ring, a mark of its hand-shaped origin rather than a flaw. (Because of the nature of how it is made, each piece is a little bit different than shown in the photos, but generally up to 90% similarity.)
